DAY 1

(22nd November)

Welcome Speech - Ali Riza EZEN, head master of EskiÅŸehir Fatih Fen Lisesi.

​

Welcome Speech by Asuman BaÅŸ, coordinator teacher.

​

Coordination Meeting with teachers; Asuman BaÅŸ briefly explains the program and gives information about the project timetable for the mobilities.

DAY 2

23rd November

Presentations about Water and Climate Change:

Italy - The importance of water for living beings and water  issues (eg. water pollution, water shortage, accessible reservoirs).

​

Turkey - Energy production (eg. water energy, geothermal energy) and water.

​

Latvia - Agricultural water conservation (including clothes - cotton production).

​

Portugal - Water print (blue water, green water, grey water) and water-use efficiency.

​

Spain - Global warming - relationship with the availability of water (droughts, floods, glaciers melting that transforms fresh water in salty water).

DAY 3

24th November

Field trip to Bursa

​

We went to Gölyazı, a town founded on a small peninsula on Lake Uluabat - a freshwater lake in the vicinity of Bursa. Why? As this lake was recognized by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of International Importance and as "Living Lake" in 1998, by the Global Nature Fund, it was a great opportunity for partners to reflect on the importance of preserving water.

Sustainable Agriculture decreases water consumption.

3.Debate motion:

Air pollution has a big impact on water.
